Roll-over votes

This is interesting phenomenon with Preferential voting, in Bemin Ward for example, following 2 candidates have following 1st vote:

SINGH, Preet241223.20%
LADBROOKE, Nick141713.63%
Original numbers

Results after distribution of preferences(After the votes role-over)

CandidateVotes after distributionPercentage
SINGH, Preet585156.29%
LADBROOKE, Nick454443.71%
Votes from other candidates get added to them.

It will be interesting to know how many voted me as their 2nd preferences, 3rd preference likewise, as in Quandong ward, there were no votes rolled-over as candidate won with absolute majority.

More Stats:

I managed to get details 1st , 2nd & other preferences from VEC (Exclusive)

Interesting to know I have got 2nd highest 2nd preferences. Now, (sorry to say) many don’t know who Monica is, as there wasn’t any information about her online or offline. In which case, I have got the maximum 2nd preference votes as a legitimate candidate. That’s something to Boast about 😎!
